I’m trying to rearrange the home screen and I can’t find anything online to do it. I can reset the customizations on the home screen, but I don’t want to reset it, I want to edit it!
Recently I learned how to re-add my recently watches movies, which is awesome, but it stuck the group right in between my newly added movies and my newly added TV, which is annoying. There has to be a way to move those groupings around on the home screen.
As I understand it, the order of the hubs on the home page mimics the order of your pinned libraries in the sidebar. So hubs related to your Movies library will always be together, and hubs related to your TV library will be together. You can’t mingle them.
Within a library, you can manage the order of the hubs by going into Settings > Manage > Libraries. Click on “Manage Recommandations” next to the library, and you can drag/drop the hubs within the library. I’m pretty sure that affects the home page as well as the Library’s Recommendations tab.
This is as close to a solution as there is right now. It’s really a shame too, because it would be so easy to just make those groups able to be shuffled around. The recently watched movies group used to be at the bottom but Plex added all the other crap at the bottom and removed the one group I actually used more than any other. It’s just irritating to no end.
