Server Version#: 4.143.0
I’ve been following instructions from the following link to setup my plex media server on a headless raspberry pi attached to an external HDD
https://forums.plex.tv/t/using-ext-ntfs-or-other-format-drives-internal-or-external-on-linux/198544/1
I’ve succeeded as now my Plex Media Server does access the data and I can access my music from a plexamp app on another device.
However, my HDD contains all my library and I’d like to be able to keep adding data to the HDD via my raspberry pi and therefore add new entries to my library regularly. Now, the permissions are quite locked on the HDD; I can only read and can’t write anything. I believe permissions for the HDD have been set to root only and I can’t add any files.
When opening the folder and listing permissions (ls -ld), it says that:
drwxr-xr-x 12 root root 32768 Jan 1 1970 /usb/
Anyone could help me in getting that hard drive running with read and write permissions so I can have a live Plex media server on rather than something stuck at the date I set it up?
Thanks
