Managed Account with Remote Plex

I have a yearly remote Plex pass that I purchased for Plex in my iPhone Plex app, expiring in August 2026.

My intention was to allow my managed accounts on users to stream access my server. I am able to do so in my IPhone app, but none of the managed accounts can access it on their Mac or windows apps or websites.

Possibly this is due to limitations that Apple has put on the purchase, or perhaps due to mistakes I’ve made in the setup. What could I be doing incorrectly, and what could explain this? Any step by step troubleshooting would be appreciated.

Are those friends / shared users or managed accounts you created (e.g. for family members/kids)?

I sent them invitations from my server account to their emails, and they joined access as “Managed Accounts” while doing so.

If you invited those accounts, they’re not managed users. Hence they’re not covered by your remote watch pass.
