I have my music collection in Lidarr, so basically using it for “first management” - to sort and rename. So I have separate root folders for separate types of music, like Albums, Soundtracks, Scores, Musicals etc.
Is there a way I can bring Plex to show it also like that, for instance Albums library, scores library, or some kind of filter at least?

in plex and plexamp you can access by folder. for me the albumartist tag is the most important. it keeps number of artists in plex on a small number and i use it to group series of comilations together.
i also have my own genre tags which helps me a lot
you could use genre tags like, musical, soundtrack…
or you could add more than one library

i would definitely check all my tags before adding them to plex
If I understand you . You could create a new library for each type of music, and point Plex to the folder you want.
For example. I divide my music by Christmas, Jazz, classical, blues, spoken/audio books, and then everything else.
I have a different library Christmas, and the only folder it looks at is my Christmas music folder.
Not sure if that is what you are trying to do?
