Manually change the order of merged files

HI, i would love to have the ability to manually change the order of merged files in the edit menu . i have tried everything but plex still incorrectly combines the order of the files (cd1, cd2, cd3, cd5, cd4). I’ve tried using “part” in the file name too and its still out of order. for the life of me i cannot figure what criteria plex is using to combine them.

You have two issues here.

  1. Multipart movies/shows.
  2. merging of files that should be multipart.

Can you list the filenames of a merged/multipart movie?

sure and thanks for the reply. I purchased the collection of red vs blue and ripped them. i wanted to keep the collection together as listed in wiki.

in plex parts 4 and 5 are out of order. like i stated before, i tried using “part” in the name as well.
