Manually fixing match for music

Is there a way to manually fix a match for an album? I know for movies we can use the imdb id to force a match, is there something similar for music album?

ok, this doesn’t help me. Let’s take an example.

I have this album in my library: milo - Things That Happen at Day (2013) https://musicbrainz.org/release-group/ad2060f7-65b9-4347-a946-3467419b7cf7.

And it is listed under the right artist Milo but I believe because the files are well tagged not because of the ‘smart’ matching of plex. Just look the tags associated with it:

Toddler and baby music lol. I’m guessing because it couldn’t match the right album (which exists in last.fm btw) it tried to guess the tags from the name of the songs… Epic fail.

What I’m looking for is a way to force a match if we can find the album listing on an external website. Last.fm, musicbrainz, discogs, anything really.

Match/Fix Match are also available at the artist and the album level.

Start by checking the artist photo/bio. If that is already not correct, use Fix Match to get the artist right.

Then progress to the album(s) and treat them as well with Fix Match.

Another approach would be to tell Plex to always favor your embedded meta tags. Which I’d personally recommend if you are already tagging your music with Music Brainz.
