Manually installing Aeon Nox skin

Yesterday I posted a question about not being able to download any skins using - Preferences - skin - directly in Rasplex. There has been quite a few views but no replies, so maybe no body knows. So my question is now. Is it possible to manually download the skin using my PC and then ad it directly to the specific folder on the microSD card?

Thanks
Jonas

yes

skin folders goes inside /storage/.plexht/addons/

and you can find that skin here https://github.com/magnumdoomguy/skin.aeon.nox.5/releases/tag/v5.4.0

Thanks alot! I’ve tried to remove the microsd card from the Pi and open it on my pc, but there seems to be no folder called storage. So I’m I doing something wrong? Do I need to create the folder myself or would I have to SSH into rasplex to get to the folder and if so how would I do this step by step including how to unzip the skin into the folder.

I’ve now located the folder using Putty and have downloaded the skin on my pc. So how do I add the folder on my pc to the folder on the raspberry pi using putty or something similar? I’ve never really worked with command prompt that much so this is quite new to me. I used this guide openelec.tv/documentation/user-guide/useful-terminal-commands to locate the folder but don’t know how to get on from here.

Unzip the skin on your PC using 7z. 7-zip.org/download.html

Use WinSCP to log in to Rasplex. winscp.net/download/WinSCP-5.13-Setup.exe

WinSCP has two file panels (one side your PC the other the PI)

Navigate to “/storage/.plexht/addons” on the PI (plexht will be grayed out as it is a “hidden folder”)

Navigate to the folder where you unzipped the skin on your PC

Highlight the skin folder and press F5 this will copy it to the PI

Reboot the PI and the new skin should show up on the Skin menu.
