Many New Video Files -- Constantly Skipping

Hi all,

I’m noticing that a lot of my new video files are skipping while watching them. It doesn’t appear to be any sort of buffering issue (but I suppose I could be wrong as I’m writing this), but basically the video will go from 0:34 to 9:21, then to 13:45, and so on and so forth.

I can’t seem to find anything in the logs (journalctl -u plexmediaserver) that would help me identify the problem.

Server: Version 1.8.4.4249

I have noticed stuttering playback on both of my NVIDIA Shield boxes since the last update. I am not sure if it has to do with the latest (Version 6) update to the Shield, or if it is related to a recent Plex update. The stuttering ONLY happens when playing back 480p content.

Its actually not really a stuttering at all… its totally skipping tens of minutes at a time. :’(
