Player Version#: After 20 minutes of searching help and googling “plex find player version#” I’ve given up.
I’m in a strange situation where “Fix Match” works for some albums and not others. The files for each album are kept in separate folders. All files have Match-friendly names like Víkingur Ólafsson - Johann Sebastian Bach - 02 - Chorale Prelude, BWV 734. The problem also happens with albums that don’t have any special characters in the name. The albums all have Musicbrainz listings. Plex will match files correctly for an album in one library but not the other:
Unlike other situations discussed in the forums, Plex will offer “match” but not always “fix match”.
When I click "Match, it quickly goes to “No matches found.”
When I try changing agents, I’m offered these two options, and neither can find a match.
I’ve run “optimize database” and “Clean bundles.” Neither helped. How can I get Match to work?
