Player Version#: no idea. I downloaded plex onto my Mac
All of my movies are incorrectly matched. I have a home move called “IMG_0783.MOV” that displays the movie “Bad Company”, That’s just one example.
Cant Plex ignore all of my home movies instead of trying to put an incorrect movie thumbnail on it? How do I correct this? Too tedious to right click and choose “unmatch” for all the little movie clips I have amassed over the years (and some of the movies do NOT even have an unmatch choice in their … menu).
It’s generally advisable to put home movies, clips, et al… in their own separate library(ies) (and their own separate folder on your drive as well). Be sure to set the Library Type to “Other Videos” when creating the new library. This will cause Plex to use the Personal Media scanner agent which doesn’t try to match it to a “real” movie or TV show.
