The classic TV series V the original series and V the final battle episodes do not match up when the tv series is added.
The tv series will match up correct just not the episodes. I have tried changing the names of the episodes and the seasons for the tv series. I believe it is because the themoviedb.org entries have matched the season as miniseries and not as season 1 or specials. I have gone to change the entry under themoviedb.org and I can’t get them to change the entries. The thetvdb.com source has them correctly but the matching it does stick over time. It will be good for awhile but as the tasks run the episodes drop off or mess up.
Can we get the entries updated correctly under the plex movie auto match so the series stays matched and correct over time? And/or what is the best season or naming to use to get them to stay matched correctly.
Edit it in what fasion. I have the show matched but the episodes will not match. I have the following structure to the files:
V: The Original Miniseries (1983) – Matched by plex
Season 1 – Unmatched
V: The Original Miniseries - S01E01 - Part One – Unmatched
V: The Original Miniseries - S01E02 - Part Two – Unmatched
V: The Final Battle (1984) – Matched by plex
Season 1 – Unmatched
V: The Final Battle - S01E01 - Part One – Unmatched
V: The Final Battle - S01E02 - Part Two – Unmatched
V: The Final Battle - S01E03 - Part Three – Unmatched
I have tried to change it to various other seasons like Specials and changed the names of the episodes to match (ex. V: The Original Miniseries - S00E01 - Part One). But it will not match the episodes to the show. I have tried a few different combos to get to see the episodes correctly to no avail. Right now I have all of the fields of the episode locked so that stays the way I have it but I am looking for the correct structure to clear it up. As these are the only five episodes unmatched amongst the 136 tv series I have.
