so i remember reading a post here (which i can’t find) stating that friend limit was a thing of the past, it seems there is a limit of 100 which i do not like, is there a way i can have number increase please ?
I’m not aware of that restriction having been lifted.
Keep in mind Plex is for sharing with close friends and family – not to share media on a large scale.
i can mention and know of two alternatives out there that do not impose this kind of limitation. this seems to happens over and over again on everything single market out there. this seems like a artificial limitation that should not exist and I as the admin should be responsible for any kind of headache caused by pushing the server to the limit, bw limitations, etc. i know of a work around but is not efficient etc. so why, why does this exist still in 2022 specially since u broke the same rules when u opened plex free for the masses few years ago. here is video enplaning and showing this kind of behavior from companies. The limit has nothing to do with a paywall.
Because it cannot be lifted with a payment.
It already exists since quite a few years.
Nothing has changed in this regard.
