I have an issue when playing media that has TRUEHD as the default audio track. The media plays but there is no audio. It shows on the info that truehd is not supported by the device, and that audio is transcoding, but there’s no sound at all.
The other issue is why plex doesn’t then select the next audio track which is DTS 5.1 which plays perfectly without transcoding. I can manually select that track and it works, but shouldn’t it auto select it? If it knows that truehd isn’t supported then prompt for another track, or just select a preferred track.
I can get some logs if needed.
