I’m delighted to be able to use Plex on my new LG ThinQ smart TV.
But is there any way to pause and play using buttons on the LG remote? It’s a pain having to activate the pointer and then use the on-screen controls.
I have the LG 48" C1 OLED with this remote:
Knowing the little center button/wheel is also the ‘mouse click’,
- Pick up the remote
- click the ring (at the 6 o’clock position – which is “down”)
- Menus come up and put you right where you want to be.

The only issue with pause that may arise is this default setting.
I often just use back or return key, bottom left of the Wheel
