Media download stuck in Activity view

The Activity icon on my Plex Server is continually spinning, even when nothing is playing. It states “Media download by <user>: <movie name>”

I have confirmed with the user that they’re not playing anything, but that maybe a download was interrupted. How do I clear that activity and stop the spinning?

The user has to enter the Downloads media source in the sidebar of his player and abort the download.
