I have some home video MKV files that I have optimized for Mobile, but when I try to Optimize for TV, Plex insists that the files have already been optimized. The optimized files for TV do not exist and neither does the folder.
Anyone know how to fix this?
I have emptied trash, cleaned bundles, restarted the server. Nothing fixes it. W10 - PC server.

I have a suspicion that the original file is already fulfilling the requirements for a file, that is “optimized for TV”.
I think you are correct. My newer files are HD and they are being optimzed for TV. The old ones are 480p, so they would already meet the size requiremnt for TV. Is that correct?
