Running into an issue where my movies were removed from the movie directory but I was able to re-add back most of them. Rather than having Plex re-download all the meta data again, I restored to the previous db backup thinking this would ensure everything was fine. I’m seeing that not all of those restored show up. Everything new that’s added seems to be fine.

I have reset ownership and permissions on everything. I look for movies in Plex, don’t see them, check the directory and see they’re actually there. I have rescanned the entire directory but the only thing that seems to make them show up is to remove the particular movie folder, start a scan, move the movie folder back in. I have far too many movies to do this for every one. Is there some easier way to resolve this? Is there an update of some sort I can apply to the SQLite db?

May I see your server DEBUG logs ZIP please ?

Is there a way to send them directly so they’re not public?

Just to add to it, I used your dbtool you sent me a while back to ensure there were no db issues. I did a full rebuild and reindex and then a scan and meta data refresh in Plex but it made no difference.
