Media only playing as a small video on my TV

Hi

As far as I know I haven’t changed anything other than asking Plex on my TV to update my library, but a week or so ago my media will now only play as a small video on my TV. I’m using an Android TV, either directly from the app on the TV (Sony Bravia) or through my Nvidia Shield.

My media is on a Drobo 5N2. I have never had a problem before and something has changed but I cannot figure out what setting to change (if any) to fix it.

When I play the same video on my iMac by clicking directly on the file on my Drobo it plays properly.

Any suggestions VERY welcome

Verify that Display Mode = Letterbox. See I've somehow made my Plex videos play smaller than before - #4 by FordGuy61

The setting is persistent and applies to the current and future playbacks.

Thank you! That solved it.

I saw this after I’d reinstalled Plex on the Drobo, but that wasn’t such a bad thing as it was VERY out of date (now Drobo has gone bust, nothing is automatically updating).
