Bump.
Please start at the beginning:
where is your Plex server running?
Where are your media stored?
How is the server accessing the media files?
There is no such feature as a “forced scan” in Plex.
Really? Because I’m seeing a refresh media library button right now for each library…?
There’s literally no explanation, it just stopped working.
I’m running PMS docker on Unraid 6, my media is stored on the server. Plex has full perms of my media folder.
That is not a “forced scan” for new media. It triggers a new download of meta data for existing media.
Sorry, I know nothing about Docker, nor Unraid.
What can I do? I’ve reinstalled and wiped the whole database. Is there any knowledge base posts
I read in some threads that Unraid has some trouble with ‘file locking’, which might lead to Plex database corruption.
Some users solved it by downgrading the Unraid version.
No, nothing. You can ignore these.
