Media Server 1.18.2 no longer works on Mac, impossible to do a clean reinstall

Server Version#: 1.18.2.2058-e67a4e892
Player Version#: Safari client 4.8.4

I’ve been using a Plex Media Server on a Mac Book Pro (15" 2017 with Mojave 10.14.6) until two weeks ago, when suddenly the database was getting corrupted every time I added any new file. After getting bored with having to clean it daily, today I decided to start to zero, but even after following the steps from here:

And removing the server from my list of devices, but I cannot configure a new server from, even after removing the app, removing the entries from the Library and restarting, when I open a freshly downloaded app from the web, I get the default page saying that it’s trying to reach my old server. Is there any ·$“·$%”·$ way to configure a fresh, new server on Mac?

The only step I couldn’t perform was the one regarding Login Devices, since it seems to be a dead link:

Somebody could share which additional steps are needed? I’m growing desperate

Go to system Preferences/ Users and Groups/Login items/ Remove Plex Media player
