Hi there! I am hoping for some support re: my PMS crashing when attempting to download movies onto my iPad. For what it is worth, I have done this countless times without any issues whatsoever and even downloaded several movies last month for a business trip. This time around my server is just freezing up on me.
In the screenshots below you’ll see CPU resources aren’t an issue. Looking at it from the console screen it just stops mid-download.
I am hoping someone can look at the attached logs and offer some insight. If the answer is “roll back to version xyz” that will also work. Thank you in advance!
Your log indicate it might be plex relay crashing. Try turning that off and see if the issue persist. I can’t tell from your logs why it is crashing. A developer will need to look at the crash logs.
1.41.3.9314 is recent enough that it works with the updated Plex iOS app, but doesn’t have the issues that developed later - as in 1.41.7, 1.41.8, 1.41.9.
It just works.
I can’t say for certain but after disabling Plex relay I have not encountered the issue anymore. Perhaps I’ll enable it again down the road to see if the problem returns, just for confirmation. Oddly it has worked all these years with it enabled.
