Plex Media Server -> iOS/iPad local downloads are failing but not remote

Installed on a DS918+, DSM 7.1.1-42962 Update 5
Server Version#: 1.32.0.6973
Player Version#: 8.18
Whenever I try to initiate a download from my iPad or iPhone plex app it fails immediately. It seems to work when I’m connecting remotel but doesn’t work when the devices are on the same network. Does anyone have any ideas? The only error it give me is “Data Transfer Failed” or “Error downloading X items” if there’s multiple items.

I also gave my NAS a 16GB RAM upgrade and a SSD Read/Write Cache if that might change anything.

I’ll also add that the server crashes after a few attempts to download too and doesn’t come back on automatically.

I resolved the Data Transfer failed issue, not sure if this also resolves the crashing issue. I found a reddit thread where other users were having issues with DNS Rebind being blocked on plex.direct, I had to disable the option in my router from my ISP.

The Plex for iOS app should be able to download whilst DNS Rebinding Protection is in place

Could you get me server logs and iOS logs for this not working
