Media Server Not showing up

I’ve been trying to setup plex media server but doesn’t seem to be working out.

I’ve installed the media server on my computer, and when I open plex from the windows bar at the bottom right, it says it cannot find the media server even though I just opened it through the media server app.

I’ve tried the solution’s here (https://support.plex.tv/articles/204604227-why-can-t-the-plex-app-find-or-connect-to-my-plex-media-server/), but hasn’t worked.

I’m not sure the server is listed on the devices page, as all I see are 3 different chrome devices.

Your server might be signed into a different Plex account. Try https://support.plex.tv/articles/204281528-why-am-i-locked-out-of-server-settings-and-how-do-i-get-in/ to reset it.
