Hi all,
So after the debacle with the Android update we all experienced, my media server has been running great for the last month or so.
As of yesterday I am now getting a message saying my server is offline. My internet is connected, I can access all other features of my shield - Netflix, prime etc and also am still able to access my external drive via my PC over my network. I have all the correct permissions checked on my Plex apps too.
Any ideas?
Does http://[Local Plex Media Server IP Address]:32400/web load?
And you are using the IP of the shield correct? the 192.xxx.xxx.xxx address? Or 127.0.0.1 if you are on the shield?
Yep that’s why its so odd that its just stopped working
Can you get into the server settings?
No it just gives me the connecting message and wont allow me to access the settings.
Hi, my server won’t start either - exactly the same as yours, if you go into the settings of the Plex app on the shield where it would normally list: Plex Media Server then an icon with the running state - there is no icon, nothing at all.
