I have tried removing the bundles and tried removing it all
I am using the version downloaded from plex web site
I do not know where I can get hold of older versions to try
I have never used the Plexpass version as I am not a Plexpass member. I had 0.9.7.12 installed and the problem started after a reboot. I fully removed and replaced with 0.9.7.17 and the problem continues. I have installed 0.9.7.11, 0.9.6.6, and 0.9.5.0 (removing all files associated between each version) and they all experience the same problem.
I don't think that I installed any updates before the reboot where the problem started, but I cannot say for certain.
Then it is safe to say that your specific issue is "not PMS", if you catch my drift. Something is off in your OS or hardware. Several thousands of users are not experiencing what you see, and I am fresh out of ideas. Hmm. Do you have the possibility to reinstall or upgrade your OS from 10.6.8? Also, what machine are you on (Hackintosh maybe?) and what kind of equipment do you have connected to the machine?
It also needs to be said that for some users changing the web browser did the trick. I recommend trying Chrome for example. Some browsers (mainly IE I assume) has some Active X controls that might screw it up for you.

Did anyone look at the logs? Or are you just simply blaming my OS because the number of people here with this problem is fewer than the number of people who are using Plex.
There isn't anything connected to my iMac except for the keyboard and mouse, and an external hard drive. I just tried it with the hard drive disconnected and I switched my default browser to Safari. Same problem.

You're system.bundle is corrupt, and it has been suggested a few times in the last few pages that this be deleted so it will re-install. Whilst i haven't seen you directly confirm you have done this, you have implied that you have by responding to said threads - in which case, if it keeps corrupting, then * something* is corrupting it.

But no idea on what? Or how to fix it outside of entirely reinstalling my entire operating system?

how bout we just start with confirmation you have actually deleted your system.bundle?
Yes. I have deleted it. Over and over.
I have deleted everything related to PMS between every different version that I have used. Using this as a guide.
- /Applications/Plex Media Server.app
- ~/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server
- ~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.plexapp.mediaserver.plist
- ~/Library/Caches/PlexMediaServer
- ~/Library/Preferences/com.plexapp.plexmediaserver.plist

ok, stop the server
delete this folder -> ~/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-ins/Framework.bundle
delete this folder -> ~/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-ins/System.bundle
restart the server

... Right... I have done that. That was the first thing that I did. After that I moved on to entirely reinstalling by deleting everything associated with PMS and after that (as suggested) I tried older versions of PMS.

get me your log again.
For some reason it will not let me attach files to the post. I uploaded them to Dropbox:

in the PMS Plugin Logs dir, there is a com.plexapp.system.log, can you grab that one to?
Sure thing: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/147144/com.plexapp.system.log
There is nothing in that file since November of last year even though the date modified is today.

total straws here...
stop it
nuke everything in -> ~/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-ins
restart it
you've not done weird things with permissions, or symlinks, or python versions?
As I have said. Everything has been deleted related to Plex. Many times. What version of Python is required/reccommended? I have 2.7.3 installed, though I did install Python 3 via Homebrew (it is linked as python3 in /usr/local/bin/, though) but that was months ago.
I fixed it by restoring the contents of /System/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions to the oldest version I had in Time Machine. I am not exactly sure what went wrong– as I said I installed Python3 but that isn't involved in the Python framework which is what Plex is using.
I have tried all of the above with still no joy :(
I am not able to format and restore my install of OS as have a few accounts on here etc
I am running on a mac pro with all genuine software no hackintosh things

I have logs but cannot upload them?
