Media won't play on Android TV, but will on Chrome and iOS App

I’m having some adhoc issues with my Formuler Z7+ box, which uses Android TV. Whereby there are certain media which will not play, it will let me select the item, and press play, but it just spins with a blurry background, and will not play.

I’ve tried the same content on my Mac with Chrome, and also with the iOS App on my iPhone, and the content plays without issue.

I’ve tried with and without the new player selected, and have removed and installed from fresh the Plex app.

Any ideas what could be causing the issue?

Advice and feedback would be appreciated.

Sounds like player issue. I’ve encountered several instances with things not playing on firetv/android but playing fine on web/windows. The reason is obvious ie antiquated player in the plex app.
