Some Media not Playing

Certain videos I have in my /Media/Photos folder that are not playing when streamed to TV. They are .mp4 and .mov files. I hear the audio but the video does not play. I can see them playing in my browser only. This is on an Android TV. Advice? Thanks.

Check the version of the Plex Android TV app and update if needed.

FIXES:

  • Player: videos in photo libraries would only play audio.
