I was recently logged out of the client on my Samsung TV. On logging in again, all of the menu items have changed with a preference towards Plex curated content. To be polite, this is not what I want.
Seems fine on my laptop. Why the difference on the TV client?
On all the current clients you should be able to pin/unpin libraries to the sidebar – the pinned libraries should present hubs on the home screen. My guess is that customization has been reset at some point when you made those changes to your client.
Thanks for the reply. I’d already configured it to my liking, I logged in again to find an utter shitshow of Plex sponsored rubbish. Didn’t appreciate it.
Smart TV devices generally have crappy memory and may loose stuff like that which are saved on the client. If you have no plans to ever use our content then you can turn them off for your account at https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/online-media-sources
