Since the text and title are mismatched language I figured probably just a metadata DB bug and they usually clear up in a day or so but this one has been this way for a couple days now so wanted to report it. Thanks!
Which agent in the library?
Which library language?
Which episode ordering is selected?
Is “use original title” activated?
This show appears to be a convoluted mess.
TMDB has two separate shows: Justice League (2001) and Justice League Unlimited (2004)
whereas TheTVDB has the seasons of both shows in one common show Justice League - Justice League Unlimited - Season 3 - TheTVDB.com
and it is linking this show to the IMDb page of the earlier show.
So, it is of utmost importance which episode ordering you are selecting within Plex for this show.
I don’t have the show on my system so I can’t check but had a thought, what’s your library language? It might be translating the name.
FYI… I can confirm the same using this search criteria …
BTW… if you change the language to English (UK) the title comes in correctly. Using language as English it comes up wrong.
Plex Agent, English as language, default episode ordering using TMDB (my library default), original title not activated.
Yes it can be a mess as IMDB\TMDB split them up as two different shows while TVDB doesn’t. I use TMDB as default library episode ordering (as recommended by Plex employees and “ninjas”).
This was matched correctly for me the last few years and I just happened to notice the title was incorrect the other day and when using the IMDB reference for matching it pulls the right result but has the foreign language title. It’s pulling the right reference but the title is not the English title but the description is English so I figured a metadata mismatched happened on the database side of things since that happens occasionally.

Well, TMDB doesn’t have the spanish title.
I’ll report this one for investigation.
Some additional examples here Plex using Irish Gaelic Movie Title instead of respecting Library Language English (UK) where plex is pulling incorrect language titles for movies when using English (UK) language. These where never problems in the past and I suspect plex is doing some backend work with their metadata source consolidation which for some stuff is having a negative effect.
Overtime hopefully it’ll sort itself out.

it has been reported for deletion to TVDB.
