I would love to see a native meta quest app in the meta store. Its currently possible to “side load” a plex app like that, but it is not really optimized for the meta quest and won’t show up in your regular app list. The meta quest is really an android variant so it should be a relatively straight forward modification of the existing androd plex app and app store approval process.
