Metadata never updates

Im running PMS from Ubunutu 18.04 server and have had no problems for the last few years.

Today i was asked to add a few shows (Hogan’s Heroes, Gilligan’s Island).
After adding them the art for the Seasons came in alright but the episodes didn’t get named and the series art didn’t come in.

So I added Black Mirror same thing, Season Art came in but nothing else.

I added John Wick, and JW 2 the cover art worked for the 2nd one but not the first.

i have tried refreshing metadata manually but it seems to hang up and just spin and spin on the cover and never update or change anything.

any help would be greatly appreciated.
