Using plex version 1.14.1.5488. Using Freenas 11.2 stable. For some time, Plex has been unable to download metada for all files. I have thumbnails instead of posters for all media. I have looked on plex, reddit, and other various sites for fixes and have applied most, with no resolution. Disabled IPV6, no corruption in debug files, optimized databases, refreshed all metadata, Any working solution would be good at this point. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Got everything working finally. For Freenas, I deleted the existing jail and installed plex as an add in as opposed to setting up the jail seperately. Followed the settings in the articles you provided. Everything finally downloads correctly, populating all metadata. Thanks for your help.
Glad you got it working. However in the long run I think you’d have a smoother experience with a regular jail and installing PMS in it yourself. Using the plug-in system brings its own myriad of issues to the table and it can be very temperamental. So much so that FreeNAS is looking to do away with plugins entirely as soon as they can.
