I set up a server on Freenas and have installed plex on it. When using web browser to access plex my files do not load any meta data and when attempting to play spinning buffer wheel is all that happens.

Thank very much this was exactly what i needed. For those interested this is what i did to fix the problem using sources cetteup advised.
In Freenas I turned on Vnet and set default router to my router ip.
Changed ipv4 interface from nfe1 to vnet0.
In jail properties i turned on allow.socket_af
After that restarted jail. Went to plex and refreshed metadata and it loaded perfectly and the file even plays now to boot.
