Of course.  They like all ideas.   :D

So they like this idea too? https://forums.plex.tv/topic/160834-should-plex-divulge-just-a-little/page-2#entry923158

Liking it and Doing it are two different things of course. ;)

+1 I like this idea and cant wait.  :D  :D  :D  :D

It would be GREAT to add Microsoft OneDrive Support to Cloud Sync for Plex. WIth Microsoft giving its Office subscribers 1TB of storage now, it is going to become a good choice for many of us.

Thanks much,

Rob

The only way I know of right now to use ONEDRIVE with PLEX is to download and install ONEDRIVE for your computer and add the ONEDRIVE folder in PLEX. But The Content is Still Stored on you computer during sync.

I am sure this would have a lot of people taking up plex pass subsciptions so deffo +1 from me

+1 I really think OneDrive should be an obvious choice now after thay started supporting larger file sizes.

One issue might be uploaded speed. I have been uploading my 500 gig collection and it's been over two weeks and it's still got a few hundred gigs to go.

I rather think that that is irrelevant. Upload speed is tied to the technology used for your connection to the internet; and nothing to do with OneDrive per se.

For example, I'm on an ADSL connection, and the clue is in the name (A stands for Asymmetric - because my download speed is an order of magnitude faster than my upload speed). If I was on a fibre-optic connection, then I would expect to have the same (fast) download and upload speeds.

Being on ADSL is rather like trying to fill a reservoir using a teaspoon.

I have 20 down and 2 up. I know speed varies and I can't expect it to be instant, but I know if I were uploading similar amounts of data to dropbox or Google Drive it would be faster.  I am lucky if it uploads 4 videos a day. Either way, I am sure many plex customers aren't on crazy fast internet and if Microsoft is limiting the uploads, it would effect the experience of Plex.  That being said, I hope Plex does offer support for oneDrive
