Going to be replacing my Drobo with the new Synology DS2422+ and was looking to see if there is a way I can migrate plex from the Drobo to the Synology so I dont lose all my movie collections etc and have to reset everything up.
ChuckPA, thanks one last question so for all of the media I have I can still have separate shared folders for them like I do on the Drobo (Videos, Music, Photos) or do I need to copy all of those files into the Plex Shared folder on the Synology as well
Copy your media to their own separate folders.
PlexMediaServer is for the server itself (its internal files).
I made it visible so you can back it up easily.
