I’m moving plex server to a new machine and I can’t find a solid answer if the sonic analysis data transfers over to new machine when following basic migration process for windows. It took quite a while to do, so if there are additional steps or it’s just not possible I’d like to know ahead of time.

There is no such thing as a basic migration.
If you manage to set up the new machine just in the same way as the old one
(i.e. all media files are accessible under the same address/drive letter(s)/folder names/file names) you can transfer the old installation, and it will behave as if nothing has changed.

Nope. As I wrote, from Plex’s point of view nothing has changed.
