I migrated Plex server from one Win 10 box to a new Win 10 box. Followed directions here:
All media is on a NAS and all media is still visible and playable on all clients from the new server (same mapped drive letters on both old/new server).
However, under the “Movies” library, the Collections tab displays “Something went wrong. An unexpected error occurred”. Recommended, Library and Playlists work fine.
All media is searchable, AND if I look at the ‘Collections’ under ‘Tags’ for the movies, they still have the proper tags set that should assign them to the proper collections.
And under the ‘TV Shows’ tab, I have the same problem with the ‘Collections’ tab, but ALSO with the ‘Library’ tab. Same error message as above (Something went wrong. An unexpected error occurred). “Recommended” and “Playlists” tabs work fine, and everything is searchable/playable. All TV metadata also looks correct.
The ‘Home’ tab looks correct. All TV series have the proper ‘Played’ status as do all movies.
It’s just the “Collections” tab for both TV and Movies + the “Library” tab for TV Shows that produces the error.
I assume some files were corrupted during the transfer, but if anyone knows what those files are to prevent another 1+ million file transfer, I would be greatly appreciative.

I’m assuming that’s what you meant. I selected that, but it didn’t solve the issue. The problem exists across all clients (web, mobile/Android, NVIDIA Shield TV, etc.), except the message is slightly different depending on the client. On Plex Web, ‘Collections’ under ‘Movies’ and ‘Collections’ and ‘Library’ under ‘TV Shows’ gives the error “Something went wrong - An unexpected error occurred”. On mobile & shield ‘Collections’ shows ‘Add Content to this Library’ for both Movies & TV Shows, and TV Shows / Library hangs on Shield (spinning circle) and on mobile says ‘No items to display’.
Another bit of info - I can find a collections by using the Search function even though the ‘Collections’ tab doesn’t work.
Thanks for the suggestions! I still had the files on the old machine, so I decided it was simpler to try copying them again, and that fixed it. I think the zip file may have corrupted something.
