Migrating from PHT to OpenPHT on El Capitan. Search not working

Hi there, I recently moved from official PHT to OpenPHT and everything but Search works fine. After entering some letters the Spinner in the lower right corner is not showing up and no results likewise.

I run Plex Server Version 0.9.16.4 and OpenPHT 1.5.2

I have read through another thread about Search which suggested to copy over some cache file in “Application Support” from a PHT-Installation to the OpenPHT-Installation but this cache file does not exist in my original PHT-application support folder.

What I did not try yet as last resort is to downgrade my plex server from the PlexPass-Release to the last public release. Before I do, I just wanted to check if this is a known issue with compatibility between OpenPHT and the Server or something obvious I missed.

Search works fine for me on 0.9.16.4/1.5.2 on OS X 10.11.4 (and I didn’t move anything from PHT to openPHT - I just set OPHT up from fresh)
FYI I believe that PMS 0.9.16.4 is the most current version for both Plex Pass and public

I think Search just takes a bit to populate. What skin are you using? I use Aeon Nox and that skin takes a while for searches to show for me. Eventually they do.

EDIT: I just thoroughly read your post and realized you are probably referring to the thread I opened, so I guess it didn’t work for you.

Thank you guys. isaarcdz is right, it just took some time for search to work. I assume it did some indexing work in the background first. My suggestion would be to indicate somehow that the database is “not ready” yet to search through to avoid confusion. Search works great now.
