Search function on web browser interface not working... app works fine!

Server Version#: 1.26.2.5797
Player Version#: 4.76.1 (Chrome)

I’ve got a bit of a niggle with my PMS search function. The set-up is:

WD PR4100 NAS - running Plex (1.26.2.5797)
Plex App - Android Smartphone
Plex PMS - 2x Android TV’s (10.6.0.5141)
Plex PMS - 2x Windows 10 computers (4.76.1)

So Plex is mostly running correctly. I can access all of the media files manually through the computers, Android TV’s and Android smartphone app. It plays the files fine.

The issue is the search function on the computers. For some reason, it has stopped working, so that whenever you pop in any search term at all, instead of name matches appearing in the drop-down below the search bar, the orange “busy spinner” simply starts spinning (indicating that it is probably working and searching), but never finds any results. It just keeps spinning forever.

The only way to clear it, is to delete the search term that was used, and then refresh the browser with F5 to refresh the PMS, and you can start using the PMS interface again.

The search function in the smartphone Plex app works fine and finds results as it should.

The search function in the Android TV apps also works fine.

Therefore, as the Android TV and Android smartphone app search functions works, and it’s only the PMS search function in the web-browser, I’m confident that the database isn’t corrupted, and the issue is local to the browser/s? I’ve tried it on 2x Chrome browsers on two different computers and it doesn’t work on either. I’ve also now tried it within Opera on one of the computers, and it didn’t work in this either!!

Can anyone tell me how to fix this please?

Many thanks in advance for any replies.
