Migrating TV shows to another Hard drive

Player Version#:

Hey Guys

I have a 16 tb hard drive which has 3 folders
Movies, TV show and Home Video

This hard drive now has only 500gb left on it
I would like to add a second hard drive

I would like to put more tv shows on that second drive

Would I have to add a new folder called TV shows on that second drive?
Would Plex open both hard drives and show the combined TV folder libraries on my TV?

OR, would I have to open another folder on the start page on the screen?

Thanks

Jeff

You can add additional folders from any drive to your existing library.

A follow up please

If I just wanted to copy all my stuff from a 16tb hd ( D DRIVE )to a 18tb hard drive would I just add that new 18TB hard drive (E) and folder contents ( same as original) then delete D folder?

Back to my original post, if I added a second drive for my TV shows as my original post says could Could I bring some shows from drive d to drive e and just “scan” and library would rebuild itselfand be intact?

Thanks !

Follow the article @tom80H linked.
Maybe put all of your TV shows on the new drive and keep your movies and home videos on the existing drive.
My advice, take your time. Don’t Move the files, Copy and verify before deleting.
