Migration from 32Bit to 64Bit on another Computer

For a few days I’ve been trying to migrate from a 32-bit version to a 64-bit version on another computer.

But somehow I can’t get it to work. I’m forgetting something somewhere…

How would you proceed and from your experience what kind of directories need to be copied. Thanks for the input

32 vs. 64 bit shouldn’t matter.

I do believe that this plays a role. I can’t just copy everything. Otherwise I have 32bit again

You migrate only the server data directory and some config files — not the executables… those are either 32 or 64 bit… the data doesn’t care if the executable is in 16, 32 or 64 bit.

Uninstall the 32-Bit version of plex and install the 64-Bit version, if it does not work you are running a 32-Bit Operating system.
