Minimal GUI for hardware volume buttons

Hello all. I’d like to see just the volume slider when I adjust the volume using the iPhone’s volume buttons. Currently when I do so plex shows the entire UI:

It’s too intrusive when I just want to compensate for background noise in my environment.

For comparison Netflix does it very well:

Note Netflix doesn’t allow showing the video image in the screenshots.

Adding some fuel to the fire…

Youtube has the minimal volume slider as well, when using the devices’ hardware volume buttons.

VLC doesn’t show the slider at all. Which kinda makes sense. When your ears are pleased with adjusting the audio, it doesn’t really matter what the slider looks like to your eyes.
