I’m running Plex on a Netgear ReadyNAS 426 (OS6.10.8)
I have over 75,000 tracks which I am trying to index. I have tried several times to index these and it never finds all the tracks. The strange thing is that the ones it misses are different each time!! There is no pattern whatsoever. On an earlier attempt I did the Plex Dance process and it found missing albums but it showed them as recently added which I do not want - I want them added in the order they were added on the NAS. Latest attempt is missing over 1600 tracks (approx 150 albums).
My music is meticulously tagged and the key Music library settings are:
Scanner and Agent: Plex Music
Prefer local metadata ticked
Genres - embedded tags
Album Art - Local file only
Why is Plex not indexing all my files?
