Missing Artwork (again)

I have been running Plex without problems for years but last week the drive containing Plex Medea Server died.

I installed a new drive, uninstalled Plex, installed Plex and added libraries.

The libraries updated, and downloaded metadata (movies and TV Programs) but not any artwork associated the the movie or TV program.

I see many have had this issue but I’ve not been able to find a solution.

I’ve tried:
Refreshing metadata for individual programs
Deleted all the cache files

The only errors showing in the Plex Media Server.log are
Sep 15, 2018 16:00:54.265 [6828] ERROR - CheckNetIsolation.exe exited with code 0x5
Sep 15, 2018 16:00:54.265 [6828] ERROR - Failed to grant application loopback exemption

at the start.

Server Version#: 1.13.5.5332
Player Version#: 3.57.1

Did you move the Plex data folder to a different location, away from its default?
If so, keep in mind that it must be

  • not a networked drive/share
  • a partition/volume formatted with the NTFS file system. None other will work.
  • not be part of a ‘extended’ volume (drive bender, windows storage spaces etc.)

Thanks for the reply,

It’s a USB drive, with the same drive letter as the dead one.
Formatted with exFAT, I’ll reformat it as NTFS
It’s a standalone 500Gb USB drive.

^^^ Then this is the issue.

Did seem to be, now formatted NTFS and it’s downloaded the artwork for one folder of movies, now just adding the rest.

Thanks for your help
