Artwork disappeared, nothing get's it back - I need actual support not forums! Why did I buy a PlexPass if this is the best I can get?

Server Version#: 1.13.7.5369
Player Version#:

All of my artwork on 20TB of media has started to randomly disappear.
Refresh metadata appears to be doing what it should, then panel flips and it’s blank.
Flushed out all meta-data & media folders and initiated a forced reload of all metadata & artwork, same behavior. Restored database back to 9-1-18, some artwork is appearing but when refresh metadata gets to it, it too is gone.

I’m already bugged that I have to pull back another 12TB of media due to the discontinuance of PlexCloud and now not being able to get assistance from an engineer who knows the product to help me fix this issue is really making me wonder why I purchased a PlexPass and started supporting this product when it was first announced.

See if this is your problem. https://support.plex.tv/articles/201424327-why-do-i-get-metadata-but-no-images-for-my-library-items/

Nope, not the issue. These libraries were all previously fully functional with all artwork downloaded and available. No references to local media or any sources that do not have full metadata & artwork available and all agents have been configured and operating since the very first version of Plex.

This is a very recent development and as noted even after the metadata downloads it flips to showing no artwork even on items that previously had full artwork available.

Resolved. The Plex data had been moved to a ReFS formatted volume to reduce usage on the C: drive.

I allocated a fresh 50GB NTFS formatted drive and mounted it into C:\Plex, moved all of the content to there and the artwork is now restoring.

So the link I provided was the issue.

Some filesystems such as Microsoft’s Resilient File System (ReFS) or “drive pooling” implementations don’t correctly handle things in such a way that the links used for the metadata work correctly.
