Missing backups on Nvidia Shield Pro (with external storage)

Server Version#1.40.1.8251

Based on console, it appears that I have a database corruption issue. Reviewing the various posts, including Fixing Nvidia Shield Plex Issue (Plex Media Server Settings Disappear) : r/PleX (reddit.com), resolving this involves locating the database backups. The Database Backups
directory referenced in that post is nowhere to be found on my system. Reviewing the settings on my system, I see that the configured backup location is “/storage/emulated/0/Plex Media Server/Database Backups/” - this appears to be the default, but to my dismay, this setting is not validated, does not force the creation of a destination folder and does not display an error to alert the user that backups will not occur because the configured destination is not valid.

Am I missing something, or am I correct in my conclusion that I have no database backups?

Note: extremely disappointing to see zero mention of backup in the Plex support articles related to the Shield Pro.

Emulated is usually the internal storage location which is ordinarily not accessible unless you use a 3rd party tool like x-plorer. Not at my system right now, but it think if you access internal system storage you’ll find a solitary Plex Media Server that has only back ups in it. It won’t be located on external storage.
