Is this functionality in the latest beta?
I have a Synology DS1823xs+ with a NVIDIA T400 4GB GPU (pretty common setup, I’d say) running version 1.42.2.10102 and I just realized the GPU is no longer listed as an option in the ‘Hardware transcoding device’ dropdown - therefore hardware transcoding is no longer working/possible. (Needless to say, this wasn’t a problem up to this point)
That version is the current beta. Moving your comment to it’s own thread for troubleshooting.

Please turn off Verbose logging. That is not needed.
We have reached out to Synology. They made it perfectly clear: “No Support of such a configuration.” Therefore this is not something that we/Plex can support.
External GPU support in a DS1823xs+ is NOT SUPPORTED
Also this configuration voids the warranty.
Well, it seems I overlooked the oldest (IT) trick in the book. After turning off the Plex service and turning it back on again, the video card is present/used again, so this might have been just a “hiccup”
