I’m running plex 1.24.5.5160 media server and just signed up for a lifetime pass. My status says “in review” when i click on my account payments. The problem i have is that i have no option to view/manage or edit my own movie collection. when i open plex from the media server app, i dont have the ability to setup remote access at all, link to a drive on my PC, etc. all i see is the plex provided movies and tv shows. In Settings menu…it is also missing menu items…i only have Account, Online Media sources, authorized devices (which only shows that i am connected to web) webhooks , and users and sharing. Seems my account doesnt have permissions or functionality to allow me to add my own movies to plex. I have tried signing out and re-signing in, disabled the windows firewall, un-intalled and re-installed the plex server with no success.
Never mind i figured it out…had to delete old entries in the windows registry after i changed my account password. Instructions are here:
