Why can’t there be a checkbox like in the General tag that LOCKS the image. Potentially the LOCK checkbox downloads the image to the movie folder and names it poster.jpg. If you uncheck the LOCK for the poster, it deletes the poster.jpg.
I might be over simplifying a fix that Plex could implement, but isn’t it that easy?
I also don’t want to go through 4k movies and check a box, but I’d rather do it once and fix this problem than how it is now. I fix it… and 2 days later my manual fix is removed.

The Dirty Dozen - Artwork/Posters are still missing. All movie info is present.
