Just finished a Ubuntu 14.04 build on a Gigabyte Brix i3 with the sole goal of getting PHT working. So far the Cloud Sync files and the trailers work fine, even the HDMI output is working well, however my MKV movies are stuck in 60 fps or something there about. Basically the movie is stuck in fast forward. Any ideas would be a huge help.
Check your audio settings. If they are set for the encoding and the TV does not support it, it will just run in fast forward. Try 2 channel .
